Baking

I really do love to bake Many things with food I make Maybe for dinner beef steak But my speciality’s cake

And you’d be right if you guessed I like chocolate the best Another I might suggest Drizzle cake with lemon zest

Or maybe to you I moot A rich cake with lots of fruit That would hopefully you suit And prove to be scrummy loot

You could make a cake surprise Hoping that it does well rise Right before your very eyes So it reaches a good size

For an extra special treat I like to make something sweet Put in lots of sugar neat Then melt it over the heat

Making fudge or caramel Both can turn out pretty well Tho’ it can be hard to tell Sometimes there’s a burning smell

I am sure that I have said I also like to make bread That you then can eat with spread So that you feel fully fed

Another time I make scone Put butter and jam upon So that I will then reckon They will very soon be gone

Or I could add in some cream As to me it now does seem This is a pretty good theme But don’t take it to extreme

For homemade cooking’s so nice And it comes at half the price But let me give you advice Don’t let eating be your vice
