Fireworks
It seems the world has gone berserk
With so many noisy fireworks!
They shoot up into the night’s sky
I’ve no idea exactly how high
Of colours there’s a multitude But the loud bangs are quite rude Some of them twist, turn and whizz Whilst others seem to pop and fizz
They are difficult to ignore
Unless you sleep with a loud snore
But I don’t think that it is right
That they go on for the whole night
If only users would thoughts spare For the animals that they scare But hopefully soon they will cease And life can again return to peace
