More rain!

The weather generally is dank The fields are all sodden and damp The clouds so many times have leaked That water everywhere has seeped

The ground is really waterlogged The soil is all marshy and bogged Everything seems so dull and grey For how long will it stay this way?

Surely at some point it will stop When it’s used up the last raindrop And finally there is blue sky That might help things begin to dry
