Greyness

There once was colour Vibrant, bright, alive But now so washed out Life has drained away It’s just shades of grey

Covered up with dust Old dirt, residue Their hues are now masked True colours can’t show

Like life that too can Become jaded and Faded, all wrung out So tired and worn

Missing the vigour That once was there Left lifeless and limp In utter despair
