My Cough

I have a cough I just can’t shift It seems I’ve still More phlegm to lift

It really is An awful pain I briefly stop Then start again

What shall I do About my hack Of good ideas There seems a lack

I am having Plenty to drink But makes less diff- -‘rence than you’d think

It feels to me Like something’s stuck I guess it is mucus-y muck

I wish that it Would go away But seems it wants With me to stay
