Seasons
Winter days feel oh so short Colds or flu you may have caught Winter nights feel oh so long The balance is really wrong
But winter moves into spring We hear the birds start to sing We leave behind days of gloom Brightened with the flowers bloom
When spring starts to get warm Holiday plans begin to form Wondering where we’d like to stay When we get to go away
We yearn for the summer’s sun So we can go out and have fun Especially when days are bright And there are long hours of light
But soon leaves begin to fall For it’s autumn after all Another year rushing past Nothing seems it’s here to last
Winter once again comes round It’s awfully cold on the ground The year now draws to its end Surely time we can’t extend?
