Still H O T

This heat’s still going on and on Making summer feel very long

Have we learnt how to adapt yet Or how to deal with next to no wet?

A hosepipe ban is now in place And we’re using suncream on our face

The grass is no longer bright green There’s yellow stubble where it had been

It would be great to have some rain To get life back to normal again
