Turn of the Year!

Surely of 2020 We have now all had plenty For it has been quite some year One in which there grew much fear

And as it draws to its end Some may try to comprehend Whilst others want to forget And still more live with regret

But we cannot turn back time To wish it away’s a crime Each new day comes from the Lord To waste it we can’t afford

Soon for us will have begun The year 2021 People feel so much is at stake That on it great pressure make

But I think that the best way Is to take it day-by-day And if we in God have hope Then he will help us to cope
