It’s worrying what we forget Lost memories can bring regret And it is really not the same If we can’t recall someone’s name

We are frequently heard to say We wanted to do the old way And so often we would prefer If things could have stayed as they were

We’re never truly satisfied Until ev’rything we have tried And even then you can be sure Most people will say they want more!
