We Can't Predict

We can’t predict When hard times might come We can’t predict What life will be like

Fish can’t foresee When the net will fall Birds can’t foresee Where they will be trapped

We can’t forecast When the storms will come We can’t forecast What the score will be

We want to know We don’t like surprise We want to know To be in control

It’s not our place To act like we’re God It’s not our place To think we’re in charge
