Belonging
I think I’m longing For a sense of belonging It just doesn’t seem Like we’re all part of a team I can’t help but feel That things are far from ideal
I feel so alone Stuck in my office at hone If I want to talk I can’t just go for a walk ‘Cos no one is there Oh, it drives me to despair
A small, simple ask Now feels like a big task You can’t just say ‘Hi!’ ‘Cos no one’s there to pass by It seems a big feat To arrange just a quick meet
So what can I do To communicate with you To improve my mood And not seem sullen and rude As people still say We have got to work this way
