Life can be funny, odd, strange In one day all things can change You can’t stop it from passing by However hard you may try

Life can have its ebbs and flows Things happen you never chose Something you did not expect Makes you step back and reflect

Life is given as a gift Use it wisely, apply thrift Treat it with honour and care You don’t get given a spare

Life is fragile and so short Some days things become quite fraught You may need to stop and pray That God gets you through the day

Life is full of surprises That come in many guises Each one of these you embrace As your future you do face
