It’s too Hot!

The weather has got very hot A little sleep is all I got When English summers get this warm Rest gets much harder to perform

The heat makes it quite hard to think All you want is an ice cold drink Working brings you out in a sweat So your clothes get smelly and wet

But we really shouldn’t complain For this good weather won’t remain As quickly as it seemed to start It surely will quite soon depart
