Overload
Sometimes my brain goes into overload Feeling as if it may somehow explode Many things crowd in and become far too much I really need a proverbial crutch
Troubles and thoughts are all vying for space It’s very hard to put them in their place Seems there is so much at once occurring It can be totally overwhelming
So when I have far too much on my plate I very easily become irate I lose my temper over something small And make a meal out of nothing at all
Then is the time to pause and to take stock To call out to God, His peace to unlock Take time for myself, try simply ‘to be’ And then hopefully the future I’ll see
