Is Anybody There?

I know it’s too much to ask To be thanked for every task But emails are just one way If others have nowt to say

Seems silence implies consent This assumption I resent When I get no response back Affirmation I do lack

Surely someone could just spare A moment to show they care Just a short reply back from you Would help me in what I do

Else how do I know what’s right And whether it’s worth the fight? ‘Banging my head on the wall’ Seems there’s no sense to it all
