Does Anyone want to Know?

Does anyone want to know Why I have chosen to go? Why, after so many years I am now so full of tears

Church filled up much of my life Latterly with issues rife Concerns of how things should be Took up lots of time for me

A church should help and nourish Build you up so you flourish But it was time and again It didn’t seem to sustain

I do believe that we need Strong people to take the lead It appears that wasn’t the way So we’ve got where we’re today

But quite where did things go wrong As the years have gone along? Maybe without clear vision It’s too hard to carry on

Because our focus was lost Many people this us cost Maybe to this we were blind Put it right out of our mind

What now is the Father’s will? What plans will He now fulfil? Surely when we stop and pray We’ll find out what He will say
