Writer’s block

Sometimes I get writer’s block My thoughts are held in deadlock Despite trying every way I just don’t know what to say

Into miry depths I’d sank So my mind’s completely blank Ideas I once had, let go Such that words just will not flow

Turmoil within causes pain And I’ve got an aching brain I hope soon some words I’ll find Stop going out of my mind

But one thing that may assist As with writing I persist Make notes on paper, in stock My literal ‘writer’s block’
