Carpe diem, yes, seize the day I think it’s wise to live this way For surely there’s none of us know How our life is going to go

We are gently chugging along Thinking that nothing will go wrong But then we hear some tragic news Or something makes to change our views

Although we may think things are fine We don’t know our allotted time Nor what kind of predicament Might be the next that we are sent

It’s not good living with regret Nor with things you can’t forget So, if there’s stuff you want to do Do it! ‘cos it matters to you
