Red Sky - Dawning

Early one Autumn morning
Just as the new day’s dawning The sky’s a very bright red Up above houses and shed

So many amazing hues Reds, greys, purples and some blues Colouring the morning sky Making me gaze up high

The contrast’s really quite stark Standing out against the dark But soon it has to give way To the full light of the day
