Rain
When it comes to rain
It can seem such a pain
But we have much to gain –
It does the earth sustain
When in the rain we’re caught Rather than be distraught We ought to spare a thought For those whose rainfall’s nought
Sometimes rain can be light
Wetness is very slight
Or rain falls with great might
And our plans tries to blight
It may rain cats and dogs Weather suited to frogs Filling marshes and bogs – Wear your waterproof togs
We should bring to our mind
Ways in which rain is kind
Our views are realigned
As positives we find
When we’ve had lots of rain And it fills up the drain God will faithful remain And still his earth maintain
