Train Travel
Oh, to be out travelling
Travelling along
At sights and sounds marvelling
Feelings are so strong
Cutting across the landscape The train tracks do go It feels so great to escape Whether fast or slow
Meandering, trundling
Wandering and crawling
Hurtling, whizzing, bolting
Thundering and speeding
In a blur In a haze Sights and sounds On them gaze Look out, around Such views abound
Bridges and tunnels
Chimneys and funnels
Pylons and towers
Churches and flowers
Hedges and trees
Rivers and seas
Cars and boats
Sheep and goats
Hills and vales
Yachts with sails
Houses of all shapes and sizes
All dressed up in many guises
Bright yellow crops and fields of green
All these and much more I have seen
