In the Office
At last into the office I came But I knew that things were not the same For in amongst familiar faces There were new ones, plus vacant spaces
When wandering we must wear our mask Which at the moment is a warm task But simply seeing other people Helps to make life feel much more cheerful
And of course there is the drinks machine Even if I don’t care for caffeine… There’s far too much to try to explain – Let’s just say I hope to remain
For in my mind there’s still no doubt It’s better being out and about I value my freedom to go and roam Rather than being stuck in my home
But how does one cope with all the change As life continues to be so strange Hopefully you’ll take it in your stride And find yourself being less surprised
