As we travel we see All manner of architecture As buildings do come in Diff’rent shapes, sizes and texture

The distinctive windows And curves we spot are art deco Whilst 30s houses all Seem to have a large bay window

Pre-war council houses With their pebble dash and red brick Some didn’t survive so Then they erected prefabs quick

Later the 60s builds That by their concrete we do know 80s houses’ gardens Hole-y symmetric wall bricks show

In the fields pill boxes And a church with just a grass path By the trackside a shed Covered in shrubs at least one half

That is only a start Of describing what we have seen When out travelling to The many places we have been
