Countryside colours

The colour predominantly seen Is obviously all shades of green Grass, plants, leaves and weeds… but look with care And you’ll find many more colours there

A multitude of beautiful hues And you’ll be amazed at all those blues There are floppy poppies in bright red Radiant yellow of sunflower head

As downwards the sun projects its beam You’ll find sheep that come with a hint of cream And another, oh, so frequent, sight Will be cows in brown or black and white

Cerise, aqua-marine, magenta Cyan, purple, turquoise and amber And if you take the time to explore I’m sure you’ll discover many more
