What a week!

It’s been quite a rotten week Not the sort we’d choose to seek

I may well have already told You that we both got a cold Which meant that I worked from home Sat upstairs all on my own

Whilst Phil at his office block On Thursday got quite a shock When he left at end of day Found his bike taken away By thieves who’d come o’er the wall Bringing a lock cutting tool For me ‘twas especially sad As that bike came from my dad

Then on Friday, on our ride A car cut o’er the wrong side Of the roundabout, and gee Caught Phil slightly on his knee Thankfully he did not fall But that really topped it all
