Scotland for the weekend

A long weekend ahead did lay We’d got some vague plans for our time away But, as always, time did me beat I was still planning there in my train seat!

On Saturday, the next full day We sped down to Glasgow, used their Subway Plus two miniature railway rides And saw plenty of other sights besides

On Sunday more trav’lling about We get so bored on days when we do nowt! Orchestral concert did attend A pleasant, relaxing way time we did spend

On Monday we went o’er to Ayr The weather was most surprisingly fair A huge viaduct we did spy And later much sun, sea, sand and blue sky

Too soon our trip came to an end We needed our way back homeward to wend I def’nitely think it was worth The very long journeys to and from Perth
