Peterborough holiday

Another break – we had next-to-no rain We travelled around by foot, bike and train Though someone got wet feet twice in Leicester With no dry shoes or socks feet do fester!

Day one – The Anglian Angel Rail Tour We were sat down so long our bums got sore! At Hamerton we visited a zoo With some lemurs and a white tiger too

At Cleethorpes we briefly espied the sea But with the rain didn’t want long there to be Between Newark stations we did explore Castle and gardens, river, shops and more

Loc’lly we visited the Nene Valley And took the cycle path to Whittlesey In Peterborough museum you now can Enjoy playing the classic game Pacman
