Spring has sprung

It seems to me that spring has sprung Yes it looks like it’s now begun

Trees are putting out their fresh shoots Whilst plants are putting down more roots Birds find bits to make a nest They never seem to take a rest

Daffodils and croci(!) appear They get earlier every year The farmers are busy and keep Moving around their fields of sheep

When I get up it is now light Which definitely helps my sight
