Why do I find it hard to pray? To think of the right words to say If God’s my very special friend Then e’en my sighs he’ll comprehend

He desires that with Him I rest In our relationship invest When I fear, in Him I can hide When I’m weary, in Him abide

Sometimes when I with God do walk There is no need for me to talk He will always show to me care If I, with Him, will my time share

Prayer seems hard for me to explain But it can help our lives sustain Let us draw nearer to our Lord At the times of prayer we afford

For Jesus taught us how to pray Gave a template of what to say Give us today our daily bread These were some of the words he said

This example we can follow For His words were not hollow Thus to our God we raise our voice Give Him our praise as we rejoice!
