Jesus was Tested

When in the wilderness Jesus left much behind His food, friends and Father! To him that was a test

Tested to go without What do we depend on? A habit, addiction? Can we do without it?

What is meant by the season of Lent? We recall that Jesus did not fall Satan came but Jesus won the game

A time to reflect Go all retrospect To challenge ourselves Or God challenge us

A time to give up Or time to take up A time to be tested Or maybe well rested

Far more than the time In the wilderness That’s where it started Journey with purpose Led by the spirit!
