Nothing has been quite the same Since the Holy Spirit came He descended from above Demonstrating God’s great love

Alighted on them in fire Wouldn’t that you so inspire? So, the church at Pentecost Helped to seek and save the lost

Thus, the newly-born church grew Three thousand – more than a few They were devoted to prayer And for each other did care

They gave to those who had need The opposite of man’s greed They met together and ate With each other did equate

The Spirit’s still working now Can you think of some ways how? Filling us with his wisdom To help bring in God’s kingdom
