As I Lie Here

Inspired by Psalm 63:6

As I lie here Trying to sleep I pray, You Lord My soul to keep

As I lie here Thoughts crowd my mind I pray that soon Peace I will find

As I lie here So full of fear Lord, help me know That You are near

As I lie here Upon my bed Lord, stop worries Filling my head

As I lie here Still wide awake I pray much of This time I’ll make

As I lie here Feeling alone I pray I’ll see Where Your love’s shown

As I lie here At dead of night Lord, be with me Until it’s light

As I lie here Before the day Lord, show to me What is Your way?
