Where is the Lord?

In the Bible Oh Lord, I see So many things Written of thee

If I just take The time to read Your holy word It will me feed

But life gets hard And times are tough There seems no smooth Yes, only rough

Then I can’t see Which way to go I wonder if I’ll ever know

It’s so easy To go astray To want to do Things my own way

For if I don’t With You abide Then how can You Still be my guide

There is so much You want to give Abundant joy Full life to live

I have free will A choice to make Whether or not These things to take

Yes, I can feel Far, far away That there’s no hope No brighter day

Break in, oh Lord On my despair Somehow show me How much You care

Bring to me joy Bring me Your light And please dispel The darkest night

Yes, bring me back To what I’ve heard The promises Within your word
